Job summary

EMtek Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager to lead multidiscipline EPC projects in the resources sector. You will manage engineering and design across multiple disciplines, drive procurement packages, and ensure on-time delivery from initiation through handover.

The role requires a tertiary Engineering degree with 10+ years in consultancy or similar environments, strong client-facing skills, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering multidiscipline engineering and/or EPC projects in a consultancy/resource sector.
• Experience managing detailed design delivery, design budget, and discipline coordination with client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multidiscipline engineering and EPC projects from initiation to completion within scope, budget and schedule.
• Lead end-to-end EPC delivery including engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Develop project scopes, proposals and execution plans with technical and management teams.
• Oversee project controls: progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate design activities across electrical, mechanical, civil, instrumentation and process disciplines.
• Facilitate design and safety reviews and ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Engage with clients, suppliers and stakeholders to foster relationships and repeat business.
• Mentor junior team members and promote safety and collaboration.
• Provide site visits, construction oversight and commissioning through to handover.
