Job summary

Kaisercraft invites Expressions of Interest from Retail Managers to lead potential new store opportunities across the Cairns region. This casual, temporary site role is ideal for a retail leader ready to step up and drive exceptional customer experiences while guiding a small team.

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations, create rosters, recruit and train staff, maintain product knowledge, and oversee visual merchandising to showcase our range.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coach and train staff to high performance.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Experience using MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet monthly team budgets.
• Prepare monthly rosters and recruit/train team members.
• Manage and develop a small team.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customers.
• Assist with stock loss prevention and stock takes.
• Ensure immaculate store presentation and merchandising.
• Support promotional and visual merchandising initiatives.

Kaisercraft is excited to invite Expressions of Interest fromRetail Managers interested in leading potential new store opportunities across the Cairns region.

This is the perfect opportunity for a retail leader (supervisor, team leader or assistant manager) who's ready to take the next step in their career!

Please note this role will be offered on a casual basis, and the store will operate as a temporary site.

Based in Geelong, we’re a family-owned business with over 100 retail stores and counting, located throughout Australia. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will play an integral part in the smooth and efficient running of the store. You will guide your team to assist in ensuring the store is performing to the highest standard through customer service and presenting the store in such a way that it showcases our beautiful product range. Outside of assisting with general day-to-day operations, your other duties and responsibilities may include;

• Leading by example to drive exceptional customer experiences and help them to deliver on monthly team budgets
• Employee monthly rosters
• Recruit, select and train like-minded team members
• Managing and developing a small team
• Demonstratingstrong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
• Take a proactive approach in loss prevention management i.e. stock shrinkage and stock take
• Ensure store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising
• Assist in the implementation of promotional & visual merchandising initiatives

About You:

• You are looking for 20-25 hours per week, possibility of school hours
• Experience with managing a team
• The ability to lead by example, as well as coaching and training your team to deliver a high performing retail store
• The ability to create a memorable experience and understand our customer needs
• A motivated individual with a passion to sell our products and drive your team to meet monthly targets
• Reliable, high attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously, problem solve and take initiative
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite and a POS System
