Job summary

Kaisercraft is seeking a casual Retail Sales Assistant for a potential new store in Wonthaggi. The role focuses on delivering top-notch customer service and keeping the store well presented while working around a 2–3 shifts per week schedule.

Based in Geelong, Kaisercraft is a family-run retailer with over 100 stores nationwide, offering staff discounts, EAP support and growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Ability to create a memorable experience and understand customer needs.
• Motivated with a passion to sell our products.
• Reliable with high attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Autonomous, proactive and able to take initiative.
• Flexible across 7 days including late nights and weekends.
• 2–3 shifts per week (3–5 hours) with occasional extra hours.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and a POS system.

Kaisercraft are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from Retail Assistants for our potential new store in Wonthaggi!

Please note this role will be offered on a casual basis, and the store will operate as a temporary site.

The Opportunity

As a casual Retail Sales Assistant, you will play an important part in ensuring all our customers receive the highest level of customer service and you will have a large focus on keeping the store well presented to showcase our beautiful product range. Outside of customer service your other duties and responsibilities may include;

• Opening and closing of the store
• Assisting with day-to-day store operations
• Demonstratingstrong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
• Unpacking deliveries and replenishing the shelves
• Assist in the implementation of promotional & visual merchandising initiatives
• Maintaining the store’s appearance and organization to a high standard

About You:

• Experience in a customer facing role
• The ability to create a memorable experience and understand our customer needs
• A motivated individual with a passion to sell our products
• Reliable, high attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously, problem solve and take initiative
• Flexibility across the 7 days of the week including late nights and weekends
• Be happy to work on average 2-3 shifts a week which will vary from 3-5 hours long. There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional hours from time to time.
