Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Lilydale Outdoor Pool in Victoria is hiring casual lifeguards for the upcoming peak season from October 2024 to March 2025. You will be responsible for day-to-day pool operations and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for all patrons.

No prior lifeguard experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates should be energetic, with strong communication and a commitment to customer service; morning, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• No qualifications required; training provided.
• Willing to obtain First Aid/CPR and police checks.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day pool operations.
• Maintain safety and a welcoming environment for patrons.

The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly individuals to join the lifeguard team for the upcoming peak season during October 2024 to March 2025 . Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safety, and should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Skills & Attributes:

• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded

If you do not have these certificates, you must be willing to obtain.

You do not need to have experience as a Lifeguard. We will provide all the training for you!
