Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician/HVAC/Plumber to service remote village infrastructure in the Mackay region. The role involves routine maintenance, fault finding, safety compliance, and on-call duties, working alongside HVAC and plumbing teams.

Open to licensed trades with relevant QLD licences; remote site experience is desirable. They offer above-award rates, flights and accommodation on site, and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current QLD Plumbing Licence
• Gas Servicing Licence
• ARCTICK Licence
• Current CPR & LVR certification
• White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• QBCC Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Strong commitment to safety and quality work
• Experience in remote camps, facilities maintenance, or industrial/commercial environments is desirable
• Open to DIDO from Mackay, Rockhampton or Gladstone

• Follow safety, isolation, permit and LVR procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other trades, including HVAC, plumbing and painting teams.
• Promote a strong safety culture and speak up about unsafe work.
• Participate in on-call duties when required.

• Day Shift. Monday to Friday: 5:2(11) roster
• Open to Licensed Trades - Electricians, HVACs & Plumbers with Gas servicing
• FIFO/DIDO opportunities available.
