Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking a Maintenance Electrician/HVAC/Plumber to support remote village infrastructure. You will perform routine and breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults, and maintain safety standards across facilities.

Open to Licensed Trades with Gas servicing, ARCTICK, and CPR/LVR certifications. FIFO/DIDO options available; strong safety culture and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Queensland licenses for electrical and plumbing work.
• Gas servicing qualification and ARCTICK registration.
• Current CPR & LVR certifications and White Card.
• Clean driving record and police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance across remote village infrastructure.
• Find and fix faults safely and efficiently following safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities; respond to requests promptly.
• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing and painting teams; participate in on-call duties.

• Open to Licensed Trades - Electricians, HVACs & Plumbers with Gas servicing
• FIFO/DIDO opportunities available.

Join our dedicated DeltaFM team as a Maintenance Electrician/HVAC/Plumber, where you'll play a vital role in keeping remote village infrastructure running smoothly and safely.

THE POSITION

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance across the village.
• Find and fix faults safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety, isolation, permit and LVR procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other trades, including HVAC, plumbing and painting teams.
• Promote a strong safety culture and speak up about unsafe work.
• Participate in on-call duties when required.

THE PERSON

• Current QLD Electrical Licence/
• Current QLD Plumbing Licence
• Gas Servicing Licence
• ARCTICK Licence
• Current CPR & LVR certification
• White Card
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• QBCC Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Strong commitment to safety and quality work
• Experience in remote camps, facilities maintenance, or industrial/commercial environments is desirable
• Open to DIDO from Mackay, Rockhampton or Gladstone.
