Job summary

Interflow is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Business Partner to support construction projects and operations across Australia, driving environmental risk management and compliance. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, you will advise on planning, approvals, audits and governance, and help ensure environmental obligations are met on projects and facilities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental management, sustainability or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in environmental management within construction, infrastructure, utilities, civil works, mining or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation, approvals, compliance obligations and environmental risk management.
• Knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO 14001 principles.
• Experience reviewing environmental planning and management documentation (CEMPs, environmental approvals and project controls).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects and operational teams to manage environmental risks and compliance.
• Assist planning approvals, audits, incidents investigations and governance activities.
• Help implement and continually improve Interflow's Environmental Management System.
• Contribute to environmental reporting, data collection and training across the business.
• Support the broader sustainability strategy including emissions, waste, procurement and resource efficiency.
