Job summary

Interflow is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Business Partner to support projects and operations across Australia. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, you will provide practical environmental and sustainability advice, assist with planning, approvals, audits and incident investigations, and help ensure compliance across sites.

You will contribute to the EMS, governance and assurance activities, drive continual improvement, and support emissions reduction, waste and sustainable procurement

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental management, sustainability or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in environmental management within construction, infrastructure, utilities, civil works, mining or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation, approvals, compliance obligations and environmental risk management.
• Knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO 14001 principles.
• Experience reviewing environmental planning and management documentation (CEMPs, approvals, controls).

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects and operational teams to manage environmental risks and compliance.
• Conduct audits and inspections and investigate incidents.
• Assist with implementing and improving Interflow's Environmental Management System.
• Contribute to environmental reporting, regulatory reviews and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives, data collection and reporting across the organisation.
