Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking an Environmental Superintendent to lead environmental performance at MGO Bluebird, reporting to the General Manager. This site-based role requires close collaboration with operational teams to embed environmental considerations in day-to-day decisions, ensuring safe, compliant and sustainable mining operations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years' experience in mining, industry or government.
• Experience with approvals and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with operational teams and managing contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the site environmental team.
• Drive implementation and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System.
• Oversee environmental compliance, monitoring and reporting activities.
• Coordinate environmental support for operational and project activities.
• Manage contractors, budgets and environmental work programs.
• Build strong relationships with regulators, Traditional Owners, pastoralists and local stakeholders.
