Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health is seeking a casual Environmental Services Assistant (Cleaner) to join the Trentham Health hotel services team. The role focuses on delivering a clean, safe environment for residents and customers, while adhering to cleaning schedules and safety standards.

The successful candidate will follow infection prevention guidelines, report faults promptly and work collaboratively with the facilities team and nursing unit staff.

Qualifications

• Role requires cleaning duties per schedules and policy.
• Ability to work within health and safety standards.
• Clear communication and reporting of faults.

Responsibilities

• Clean and check equipment and report faults.
• Familiar with MSDS and safe cleaning product handling.
• Follow Infection Prevention & Control Coordinator directions.
• Follow cleaning procedures and maintain cost containment.
• Provide a clean, safe premises for clients and carers.
• Maintain harmonious working relationships and open communication.
