Central Highlands Rural Health is hiring a Food Services Assistant at Trentham Health. The permanent part-time role involves hands-on food service delivery across the kitchen, resident rooms, and snack stations, with emphasis on food safety.

The role includes dishwashing, cleaning, and food preparation tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to residents and staff. 16 hours per fortnight with the possibility of additional hours, at $28.16 per hour + superannuation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in food service delivery, preferably in healthcare or similar settings.
• Commitment to food safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a support services team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food service delivery in kitchens, resident rooms and snack stations.
• Help with dishwashing, cleaning and basic food preparation.
• Follow safety procedures and food safety guidelines at all times.
