Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland – Homestead Aged Care, Nerang is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker for casual shifts. You’ll assist with meal prep, dining area setup, cleaning of residential areas, and laundry duties to support a comfortable living environment for residents and staff.

This is a casual opportunity with an immediate start. Experience as kitchenhand or cleaner is preferred; ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Set up and clean dining areas, trolleys, and trays.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas throughout the facility.
• Responsible for laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.
