Job summary

Lutheran Services Australia is seeking a Casual Cleaner/Kitchen Hand in Biloela, Qld. The role supports cleaning, hygiene, and meal-service prep in an aged care setting, working closely with the Chef and care team.

You’ll engage respectfully with residents and staff while upholding safety and quality standards. The position is casual, local to Biloela, with hourly pay of $38.22 (includes casual loading) plus super, salary packaging and staff discounts/benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cleaning/Kitchen Hand in an aged care environment is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the facility.
• Ensure residents' rooms and shared areas are tidy, clean and welcoming.
• Monitor and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Contribute to the preparation of a quality meal service.

What You'll Bring

• You have strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Previous experience in Cleaning/Kitchen Hand in an aged care environment is highly regarded
• You're comfortable using cleaning equipment and following safety procedures
• NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
