Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Senior Advisor - EIA & Approvals to lead environmental assessments and approvals across the Perth Airport estate. You will coordinate documentation, manage inputs and support practical decisions with regulators, consultants and internal teams.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary collaboration, manage schedules, and provide specialist advice on approvals pathways and mitigation strategies to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biological Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ demonstrated multi-disciplinary experience and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering Commonwealth approvals, environmental impact assessments, management plans and compliance reports.
• Knowledge of state and Federal environmental legislation; Airports Act 1996 experience is a plus.
• Experience managing approvals and post-approval processes for infrastructure projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain regulatory information clearly.
• Collaborative style with planning ability and capability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and preparation of approvals documentation with legislation in mind.
• Plan and manage approvals schedules, priorities and deliverables to support timelines.
• Oversee preparation and submission of management plans, technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Scope, procure and manage external consultants for accurate, practical assessments.
• Provide specialist advice on approvals pathways, obligations and mitigation.
• Build relationships with regulators, consultants, tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across environmental management and approvals.
