Job summary

All Energy Contracting (AEC) is seeking an Environmental Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support projects in North East Victoria, including the Laceby Solar Farm. The role is hands-on, reporting to the Group Head HSES, and involves environmental planning, compliance, and practical on-site guidance.

You will work with project managers and HSE teams to improve environmental performance, conduct inspections, maintain records and support reporting and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Environmental, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years experience in environmental or sustainability roles, ideally within construction, renewables, civil or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals, ISO 14001 and industry requirements.
• Experience with environmental inspections, monitoring, risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Specific experience with erosion and sediment control and waste management preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
• Competent with environmental reporting systems and digital documentation.
• White Card and open Driver’s Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental plans, permits, approvals and compliance requirements.
• Conduct environmental inspections, monitoring and audits to verify controls are effective.
• Maintain environmental records and support client and regulatory reporting.
• Identify environmental risks, implement corrective actions and support incident investigations and close-out.
• Work with Project Managers, Supervisors and HSE teams to improve environmental and sustainability performance.
• Support environmental data collection, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
