Job summary

Ravenswood Gold Pty Ltd is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join the Environment, Approvals and Community team at Queensland's largest gold mine. You will support compliance, monitoring programs, reporting obligations and continuous improvement across the operation.

Role involves field-based work, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery to drive positive environmental outcomes at a long-life mining operation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a mining environmental role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System.
• Assist in managing environmental programs covering land, water, waste, and exploration activities.
• Coordinate monitoring, compliance, and reporting activities across site.
• Prepare internal and external environmental reports (NGERS, NPI, DES etc.).
• Deliver environmental training and incident investigations as needed.
• Provide practical environmental advice to operational teams.
• Coordinate and deliver environmental projects supporting compliance and sustainability.
• Support cross-functional Environment, Approvals and Community initiatives.
