Job summary

Link Group in Melbourne is seeking an Environment Manager to coordinate Dev Test, Pre-Production and Production environments within MUFG Retirement Solutions IT. You will ensure 24x7 availability, support release upgrades, and provide dashboards and root cause analysis to improve stability.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services environments, hands-on experience with J2EE, Java, JSP, Apache, Tomcat, and multiple application servers including JBoss and WebSphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience coordinating the support of large complex application environments in financial services.
• Experience building and maintaining multiple environment status dashboards.
• Background in financial services and securities industry such as Registry, Broking, Exchange, Superannuation or Trading.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects planning.
• Experience in supporting applications on J2EE, Java, JSP, Apache and Tomcat.
• Experience in supporting multiple Application Servers including JBoss, Websphere.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Willingness to accept responsibility and be accountable for service provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate usage and management of various system and application environments.
• Maintain dashboards related to environment usage management, issue management, state of diagnosis, resolution, root cause analysis of issues and problems.
• Ensure IT Systems stability through monitoring and capacity management reporting.
• Provide IT support to business users through systems problem solving and maintenance when required.
• Manage code release and deployment across multiple platforms.
• Develop and Maintain Documentation related to Standard Operations Procedures.
• Participate in after hours and weekend support as required.
