Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is inviting motivated individuals to begin an underground mining career. You’ll join a supportive team across Australia with hands-on training and clear progression into more advanced roles through nationally recognised development.

In the Entry Level Underground Miner role, you’ll operate underground dump trucks, assist with ground support, perform pre-start checks, and develop essential skills on a 2:1 roster.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical stamina to perform demanding underground tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on environment.
• Able to work effectively in a team on challenging underground projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground support installation (bolts and mesh).
• Operate underground dump trucks to haul ore and waste.
• Perform pre-start checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Learn essential underground mining skills as part of a crew.
