Qualifications

• Eye for detail and genuine interest in engineering/manufacturing.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Willingness to travel to Victoria for apprenticeship training.
• Prepared to work hard and learn diverse technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily upkeep of saws, tools and machinery used in production, including filing, sharpening and welding.
• Assist Saw Technician with planning production schedules and maintenance.
• Assist tradesmen with problem solving and troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain saws and equipment to correct standard for optimal productivity.
• Assist with saw and tooling changes during shifts.
• Operate mechanical equipment, sharpening machinery and other tools.
