Job summary

DDH1 Drilling PTY LTD is offering an entry level Traineeship for a Driller's Offsider across WA, with FIFO from Perth. The role is physically demanding but offers development opportunities, a funded Certificate II in Drilling Operations, and clear pathways for progression.

No prior industry experience required, just a strong work ethic and fitness. Roster options include 2:1 or 4:2, with site and client rotations, meals, flights and accommodation provided from major airports in Australia.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for 12-hour shifts in remote, harsh conditions.
• Must hold a valid HR-B drivers’ licence or willing to obtain prior to starting.
• National Police Clearance within 12 months (required).
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical + drug & alcohol screen (required).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (HLTAID009 & HLTAID011) (required).
• FIFO from any capital city in Australia (Induction in Perth, WA).

Responsibilities

• Mobilising the rig between sites.
• Handling core and labelling boxes.
• Handling drilling rods and core tubes.
• Mixing drill fluid additives.
• Cleaning equipment and work area.
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
