Job summary

Ternary is hiring for a Community Support Worker in the Newcastle–Maitland region. No experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided as you complete Certificate III in Individual Support.

Shifts are part-time with flexible days between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You will visit clients at home, assist with daily tasks, and progress to personal care and more advanced services as you gain experience.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Must be eligible for State Funding (Australian/NZ PR or citizen).
  • Must be able to pass National Police Check and WVPC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance and support in clients' homes.
  • Assist with shopping trips and meal preparation.
  • Deliver personal care and basic well-being tasks.
  • Support transportation to appointments and activities.
  • Encourage social activities and respite options as needed.
