Job summary

Opal Aged Care is seeking motivated Pathway Carers to join their team in Bathurst and other regions in NSW. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a meaningful career in aged care. You'll support residents with daily tasks, foster social connections, and work alongside experienced care teams.

No prior experience is necessary as full training is provided. Candidates must be ready to learn and work in a supportive environment offering job security and growth across various locations.

Qualifications

• The ability to work Monday to Friday on AM morning shift.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to complete pre-employment checks (medical, police, NDIS).

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful way.
• Provide meaningful social connection to residents.
• Assist with non-clinical care, including meals and environment.
• Support experienced care teams in a collaborative setting.
• Learn on the job while working towards your Certificate III.
