Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Brisbane is offering an entry pathway into aged care as a Pathway Carer. You’ll support residents with daily living tasks, build relationships and learn on the job while training towards your Certificate III, with full training and ongoing support from the Opal HealthCare Academy.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and motivatedPathway Carers to join our team in Care Communities across Brisbane & South Brisbane.

This role has been designed as an entry pathway into aged care, providing you with hands-on experience, structuredlearning and the opportunity to build a meaningful long-term career supporting older Australians.

Working alongside experienced care teams and under the guidance ofour clinical team,you'llassistresidents with their daily care, wellbeing, socialconnectionand quality of life while developing the skills and knowledgerequiredfor a rewarding future in aged care.

Nopreviousaged care experience isrequired-we'llprovide the training,supportand career pathway to help you succeed via the Opal HealthCare Academy!

WhatYou’ll Do:

• Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful way

You will have:

• The ability to complete pre-employment checks (medical, police, NDIS)
