Job summary

TOM People are partnering with a leading entertainment organisation in Sydney to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and commercial decision support for a multi-revenue operation.

This highly visible role manages a commercial finance team, engages extensively with executive stakeholders, and delivers insightful financial analysis to drive profitability and strategic outcomes across the business.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified.
• Strong FP&A or business partnering experience.
• Proven leadership capability with team management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience in entertainment, retail, or multi-site businesses is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Own management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve revenue, margins and profitability.
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to support decisions.
• Lead and develop a team of commercial finance professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes.
• Support strategic initiatives through modelling and business-case analysis.
