Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Red Fleet Ownership and Maintenance Transfer Program. The role reports to the Director, Fleet Transition and collaborates with senior leaders, councils, suppliers, and government stakeholders to deliver a major enterprise transition starting 1 July 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading and delivering complex, large-scale enterprise projects.
• Experience applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies in diverse environments.
• Strong governance, planning, reporting, scheduling and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior project management leadership across a major enterprise reform program.
• Coordinate delivery across workstreams, governance forums and project teams with stakeholders.
• Ensure program control, benefits realisation and continuous improvement throughout the transition.
