Job summary

Vicinity Networks is seeking a Network Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to design, implement and maintain the enterprise network across Australia. You will work on Cisco networking, security and cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for the business.

The role offers a broad exposure to data centre, WAN, VPN and automation projects within a collaborative team, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements across Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise performance.
• Experience with secure, highly available corporate environments.
• Ability to work across Cisco networking, security, cloud and data centre domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades and optimisation.
• Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve complex network incidents and issues.
• Maintain network security controls and support compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver network solutions.
