Job summary

Alliance Automation seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Lead to shape our enterprise technology environment, strengthen cyber security capabilities, and drive governance that keeps the business secure, connected, and ready for growth.

You will own infrastructure, security, cloud platforms, and technology governance, while leading a small IT Support team and delivering hands-on outcomes in a growing national business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with complex enterprise systems
• Strong hands-on networking capability across firewalls, switching, routing, VLANs
• Microsoft cloud/hybrid infrastructure expertise including Azure, Entra ID, Intune
• Experience with Fortinet or similar, Hyper-V/VMware/ESXi
• Experience implementing security controls across identity, endpoints, networks

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of cloud, on-premises, network, server, storage and end-user environments
• Implement and maintain cyber security controls and advise management on risks
• Provide technical leadership through coaching, reviews and knowledge sharing
• Support IT Support team leadership and performance discussions
• Maintain and improve support practices, escalation and documentation
• Oversee endpoint standards, deployment, security and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain technical standards, deployment patterns and policies
• Provide recommendations balancing security with usability and efficiency
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, endpoint and security initiatives end-to-end
• Maintain monitoring, patching, vulnerability management and incident response
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery arrangements
• Contribute to procurement, licensing and vendor performance
