Job summary

Paxus is seeking an Enterprise Architect in Brisbane CBD to shape enterprise architecture enabling digitally enabled change. Lead architecture strategy and governance across complex programs including SAP S4HANA integrations and transition planning for enterprise-wide services.

The role offers flexible work arrangements subject to operational needs and requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on direction to ensure successful delivery of major programs and investments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ICT transformation programs at enterprise scale.
• Ability to develop end-to-end architectural views across business capabilities, operating models, data and applications.
• Strong architecture governance experience with standards, assurance, review pathways and artefacts.
• Proven stakeholder engagement, consultation, facilitation, negotiation and influence across executives and vendors.
• Analytical/problem solving capability including requirements, gaps, dependencies and risk management.
• Experience providing direction for SAP S4HANA environments, including SAP S4HANA Finance.

Job description

Join a large public sector environment as an Enterprise Architect and play a pivotal role shaping enterprise architecture that enables digitally enabled and business critical change. In this contract role you will lead architecture strategy and governance and provide hands on direction across complex programs including SAP S4HANA platforms integrations and transition planning supporting enterprise wide services and major investment decisions. The role is based in Brisbane CBD with flexible work arrangements potentially available subject to operational needs.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated enterprise architecture leadership for large complex ICT transformation programs
• Ability to develop end to end architectural views across business capabilities operating models information and data applications integration technology infrastructure cybersecurity and service management
• Strong architecture governance experience including standards assurance review pathways and high quality architecture artefacts
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills including consultation facilitation negotiation and influencing across executives business owners technical teams and vendors
• Excellent analytical and problem solving capability including options assessment gap analysis non functional requirements and dependency risk and impact management
• Experience providing solution and enterprise architecture direction for SAP S4HANA environments including SAP S4HANA Finance

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience delivering major SAP version upgrades or platform migrations including build test and cutover assurance
• Experience with RISE with SAP or Private Cloud Edition architectures
• Experience with SAP HR Payroll SAP Solution Manager data archiving information lifecycle management or environment rationalisation
• Familiarity with government enterprise architecture information security privacy information management procurement and ICT assurance expectations

Preferred Education and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in information and communication technology computer science information systems enterprise architecture engineering or a related discipline
• Certification in an enterprise architecture framework or modelling discipline such as TOGAF or ArchiMate or equivalent
• Additional certifications in SAP cloud architecture information management cybersecurity service management or architecture assurance

Other Requirements

• Full time contract based in Brisbane CBD Queensland
• Standard hours are 8 to 10 hours per day 5 days per week unless otherwise agreed
• May be required to work outside standard business hours at times to meet project delivery needs
• On site work environment with remote work potentially considered subject to approval and operational requirements
