Job summary

About the Company

Davidson Technology are working with a leading Queensland Government client to secure an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide architectural leadership across major ICT transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance and enterprise technology modernisation.

Our client operates within a large, complex technology environment, delivering critical enterprise applications and services that support business operations across Queensland.

About the Role

As the Enterprise Architect, you will lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks and governance processes to support technology transformation, business priorities and investment decisions.

You will develop current-state and target-state architectures, integration frameworks and technology roadmaps, ensuring solutions align with organisational strategy, technical standards and operational requirements.

A key focus will be providing architectural leadership across a major SAP S/4HANA Finance upgrade, including the development and approval of Solution Architecture Documents (SADs), design assurance, integration architecture and technical governance.

You will provide architectural oversight throughout solution design, build, testing and deployment, addressing technical risks, system dependencies and transition requirements.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, solution architects, technical specialists and vendors, you will guide architectural decisions, manage governance processes and ensure successful technology outcomes.

This is a full-time contract opportunity based in Brisbane CBD, with flexible working arrangements potentially available subject to approval.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Enterprise Architect, SAP Enterprise Architect or senior Solution Architect with demonstrated experience leading architecture across large, complex enterprise technology environments.

You will bring:

• Strong experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, target-state architectures, technology roadmaps and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated SAP S/4HANA architecture experience, particularly within SAP Finance environments.
• Experience providing architectural leadership across major SAP upgrades, migrations or enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, solution design, technical governance and architecture assurance.
• Experience developing or reviewing Solution Architecture Documents (SADs) and providing architectural oversight across design, build, testing and deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

You will be a strategic thinker with strong technical credibility, capable of translating complex technology requirements into practical architectural solutions and guiding delivery teams through significant enterprise change.
