This role blends hands-on coding with strategic guidance to scale impact. Based in Sydney with a hybrid 3-days-in-office model and relocation assistance, you will collaborate across product, security, and customer engineering

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing and delivering AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Experience taking systems from prototype to production at scale.
• Strong Python proficiency and comfort with AI application stacks.
• Ability to evaluate AI systems using production signals, data, and human judgment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to translate opportunities into technical architectures and plans.
• Design, build, and deploy AI systems delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Write and debug code, develop evaluation harnesses, and reference implementations.
• Make decisions across models, retrieval, data, latency, cost, safety, and governance.
• Diagnose issues, reproduce failures, and drive blockers to resolution.
• Guide customers from prototypes to reliable production deployments and adoption.
