Altaira is seeking dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join our team in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Permanent, full-time positions (minimum 30 hours per week) with Monday to Friday shifts—morning or afternoon—and a high hourly rate. We offer 24/7 clinical support, CPD-style training, and a collaborative, family-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• Current registration with no conditions (AHPRA).
• Police clearance (National) required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• First Aid Certificate / CPR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in line with care plans, policies, and ANMC standards.
• Provide personal care and support to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with scope of practice.
• Follow direction of Registered Nurses and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Communicate clinical updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

Deliver high-quality care in line with care plans, policies, and ANMC standards

Follow direction of Registered Nurses and elevate clinical concerns appropriately

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Practise within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures

Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development

Provide supervision and guidance to staff, volunteers, and students as required

Support induction of new and agency staff

Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives

Build positive relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Report incidents promptly in line with reporting requirements

Act as senior staff member on shift when required, including responding to emergencies

Follow Quality Management and Work Health & Safety policies and procedures

Identify and report workplace hazards to maintain a safe environment

Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality standards at all times

Undertake additional duties as required within scope of role.
