Job summary

Yarrawonga Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Your role will include compassionate, person-centred care, assisting residents with daily living activities, completing nursing assessments, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated competence as an Enrolled Nurse in accordance with NMBA requirements.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of National Standards and Aged Care Standards; ability to provide high-quality clinical care.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As an Enrolled Nurse at Karana Aged Care, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Your role will include:

• Providing compassionate, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Supporting residents with their physical and emotional needs and activities of daily living.
• Completing nursing assessments and using appropriate assessment tools.
• Monitoring residents and recognising and escalating changes in their condition.
• Developing and implementing care plans in consultation with residents and the Registered Nurse.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, residents and families.
• Supporting residents' dignity, independence and personal choice.
• Contributing to contemporary aged-care practices and high standards of clinical care.
• Supporting residents with complex physical needs and behaviours associated with dementia and other conditions.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competency.
