Benetas, a Not-for-Profit aged care provider in Victoria, seeks an Enrolled Nurse for St Lawrence Court Eaglehawk (California Gully) home, caring for 67 residents. You will apply clinical skills, support daily living, and ensure safe, person-centred care with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA.
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members.
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and safe medication administration.

• Experience in tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management and infection control.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) for our St Lawrence Court Eaglehawkhome, in California Gully, home to 67 residents.

• Total hours: 60.75 per fortnight

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. Each day, they have the chance to apply their skills in a meaningful way, have more autonomy for critical thinking and space to make a positive impact within their communities.

• Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
• Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
• Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
• Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
