Job summary

Benetas is seeking a casual Enrolled Nurse for St Lawrence Court Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo, a home for 50 residents. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, apply clinical skills, and support residents with empathy and respect.

You’ll join a not-for-profit organisation with opportunities for development and collaboration with experienced RNs and clinical leaders. Casual positioning includes AM, PM, and Night shifts with 25% loading and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Division 2 Enrolled Nurse registration with AHRPA.
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members.
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.
• Demonstrate empathy and a collaborative approach with residents, staff, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Clinical skills in tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control.

Responsibilities

• Tailor holistic care to meet individual resident needs.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) for our Benetas St Lawrence Court Kangaroo Flathome, in Kangaroo Flat, home to 50residents.

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. Each day, they have the chance to apply their skills in a meaningful way, have more autonomy for critical thinking and space to make a positive impact within their communities.

• Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
• Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
• Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
• Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Current Division 2 Enrolled Nurse registration with AHRPA
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
