Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for the Aged Care Rehab unit at Prince of Wales Hospital. You will deliver high-quality nursing care under supervision and support the Registered Nurse, while upholding person-centred care principles.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Approved qualification in medicines administration, including intravenous therapy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, other care providers and hospital staff.
• Supports working in a person-centred environment.
• Current professional practice knowledge base.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use health information systems.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality nursing care under supervision.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and undertake delegated nursing functions.
• Adhere to NSW Health policies, procedures and standards.
• Contribute to person-centred care and teamwork.
• Maintain safety, quality and clinical practice standards.
