Job summary

Respect Cohuna Village in Victoria is seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team on a casual basis. You will work with Registered Nurses to deliver person-centred clinical care and build relationships with residents and families.

Your day includes admissions, clinical assessments, administering medications, documenting, care planning and reviews, monitoring wellbeing, and collaborating with families and the care team. We value dignity, compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
• Strong clinical, communication and documentation skills.
• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and clinical assessments for residents.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to resident care planning, reviews and evaluations.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the care team.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment where residents are treated with dignity and compassion.
