Job summary

Yarrawonga Health in Victoria is recruiting an Enrolled Nurse to join the Acute Ward on a fixed-term part-time basis (0.8FTE) until March 2027. The role emphasizes safe, person-centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary team and a 24/7 roster.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, deliver evidence-based nursing care, maintain records, and participate in care planning, clinical observations, infection control and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality and patient advocacy.
• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation, standards and best practice.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment.
• Classification will be based on qualifications and experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Acute Ward team. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide safe and effective nursing care in line with professional standards, policies and procedures. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice
• Supporting the development and delivery of individualised care plans
• Completing assessments, clinical observations and accurate documentation
• Recognising and escalating changes in patient condition
• Maintaining infection control, safety and confidentiality standards
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals

Clinical staff work across a 24-hour roster, 7 days a week, including public holidays.

About You

You will have:

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
