Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for the 4 South Acute Geriatric Unit at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital. The role is permanent part-time (32 hours per week) with a pay rate of $37.83 - $41.11 per hour plus 12% super and salary packaging.

You will work with Registered Nurses and the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate care and support the health and independence of older patients.

Qualifications

• Enrolled nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in acute geriatrics or aged care is desirable.
• Evidence-based nursing within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice.
• Support patients with acute medical and geriatric care needs.
• Assist with assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.
• Provide person-centred care to patients with cognitive impairment, dementia, or delirium.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary team members to achieve outcomes.
• Support patients to maintain mobility, independence and wellbeing.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients, families and carers.
