Job summary

Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital is seeking an Assistant in Nursing to join the Acute Geriatric Unit (4 South). In this role you will support Registered and Enrolled Nurses to deliver high-quality care for older patients and assist with daily living activities, mobility, nutrition and comfort.

The position offers permanent full-time opportunities with a salary in the advertised range plus super. You will work within a multidisciplinary team committed to person-centred care, development opportunities

Qualifications

• HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent or 2 or 3 Year Undergraduate Nursing Student.

Responsibilities

• Supporting patients with personal care and activities of daily living
• Assisting with patient mobility and rehabilitation goals
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Contributing to a positive patient experience through compassionate and person-centred care
