Job summary

NSW Health in Eugowra/Canowindra, NSW, seeks Enrolled Nurses for two permanent roles. The sites deliver residential aged care, community health, and acute in-patient services across Rural NSW Local Health District. Applicants must hold NSW nursing registration and a valid NSW driver’s licence with the ability to travel for work.

Roles are part of a small, dynamic team serving Eugowra and Canowindra communities with 38 hours per week and a pathway to ongoing professional impact in rural health.

Qualifications

• Current NSW nursing registration
• Valid NSW driver's licence and ability to drive for work
• Rural/nursing care experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as part of a small clinical team for Eugowra and Canowindra communities.
• Participate in residential aged care, community nursing, physiotherapy and mixed in-patient services.
• Support clinical decision-making in a nurse-led rural health setting.

About the role

Be part of a small and dynamic team of healthcare professionals delivering health services to our local Eugowra and Canowindra communities.

Eugowra MPS provides residential aged care beds, a Walk-In Health centre and community nursing and physiotherapy services.

Canowindra Health Service provides acute and sub-acute in-patient services alongside emergency and a variety of allied health out-patient presentations and community nursing.

We currently have 2 permanent opportunities available. These roles are shared between Eugowra Multi Purpose Service and Canowindra Health Service. You will have a Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.

Rural nursing is nurse-led care, so nurses are a key part of the decision-making process for client care and have more influence on healthcare delivery.
