Job summary

Northern Beaches Hospital, part of the Northern Sydney Local Health District, is recruiting an Enrolled Nurse for a busy ward in a permanent full-time or part-time rostering arrangement. You will provide safe and holistic nursing care under RN supervision, administer medications as delegated, and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs.

About The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be working in a busy ward environment, providing safe and effective nursing care using an individualised, holistic approach aligned with the goals of care determined by the Registered Nurse.

The Enrolled Nurse will consult with the registered nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Local Health District (LHD) and Service policy, particularly in relation to the administration of medications.

As an enrolled nurse, and to be successful in this role you will:

• Provide a high level of clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients
• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals under the direction and supervision of the RN
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
