Job summary

Serco in Richmond NSW is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join a multidisciplinary Defence health team delivering high-quality patient care at the Richmond Health Centre on RAAF Base Richmond.

You will provide outpatient and, where required, inpatient care under RN supervision, administer medications (where endorsed), support assessments and health promotion, and work collaboratively to ensure safe, efficient care for Defence personnel.

Qualifications

• Current unconditional AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2).
• Two years’ post-registration nursing experience in acute or primary care in the last five years is expected.
• Medication endorsement (if applicable to role) and adherence to clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to Defence personnel under RN supervision.
• Provide outpatient care and, where required, inpatient care.
• Administer medications in line with clinical protocols.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans and health promotion activities.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.

About Richmond Health Centre

Located at RAAF Base Richmond, the oldest Air Force base in NSW, 50km NW of Sydney and home to the C-130J Hercules medium transport aircraft. The facility provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to Defence members.The base also operates a 24-hour low dependency ward, closed over the weekend. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1630 Mon-Thurs, half day 0730-1400 Friday.

• Provide outpatient care, and where required support inpatient care within a health centre or hospital setting
• Administer medications (where endorsed) in line with legislative requirements and clinical protocols

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe,efficientand high-quality care

What you bring

• Currentunconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
