Job summary

Doutta Galla Aged Services is seeking Enrolled Nurses for part-time and casual roles at Doutta Galla Woornack in Sunshine, to provide person-centered care for residents.

You will deliver high-quality nursing support, work within care plans, and collaborate with RNs and allied health staff to promote wellbeing and independence. This is a not-for-profit aged care organisation with a culture of care.

Qualifications

• Current Enrolled Nurse (Div 2) registration with AHPRA.
• Experience working in an aged care environment.
• Passion for aged care and making a difference to the lives of older people.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans.
• Administer medications safely and accurately within scope of practice.
• Observe and document residents' health, behaviour, and responses to care.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, and families.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents that promote trust and comfort.
• Support daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.

We have part-time and casual opportunities for Enrolled Nurses working as part of our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for residents.
