Job summary

Respect Group Limited in Mareeba, Queensland, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team. You will work with Registered Nurses to support resident wellbeing, administer medications, and deliver person-centred care in a calm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices and clinical documentation.

  • Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families.
  • Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage and record-keeping.

No two days are the same! As Enrolled Nurse, you will:

  • Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
  • Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
About You

You’llthrive with us if you have:

  • Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
  • Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
  • Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.
