Job summary

Wintringham’s Williamstown Hostel is seeking an experienced Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to join our team in Williamstown, VIC. You will monitor residents’ health, manage medications, and liaise with GPs and pharmacists to ensure high-quality care in a supportive, community-focused setting.

The role requires Cert IV/Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration, ability to work in a team and autonomously, and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

Qualifications

• Cert IV or Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in housing, homelessness support, aged care or community/home care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Undertake medication management and treatment procedures.
• Liaise with medical practitioners, pharmacists and health services.
• Assist RN1 with clinical requirements and care plans.
• Support residents’ independence and wellbeing.

About the role

Wintringham’s Williamstown Hostel is seeking an experienced Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to join our team. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Reporting to the Residential Site manager, responsibilities include:

• Observe and report changes in resident’s behaviour or physical condition
• Undertake medication management and treatment procedures
• Liaise with medical practitioners, pharmacists & other health services
• Assist the RN1 with clinical requirements of residents
• Assist in the implementation of cigarette & alcohol programs
• Provide emotional support to residents.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to work both in team and autonomously
• Cert IV/Diploma of Nursing (with current AHPRA Registration)
• Prior experience in housing & homelessness support, aged care, welfare, disability support, mental health or community/home care
• The ability to enhance or maintain our residents’ independence and lifestyle
• A friendly and non-judgmental attitude

What we offer

Employment type: Part Time Role

Pay: $43.84/hour – $48.96/hour (depending on your quals & experience) plus super. Above Award pay and not-for-prof it salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.

Location: Williamstown (VIC)

Roster/hours of work: 7 shifts per fortnight
