Qualifications

• SC1 demonstrates knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy.
• SC2 planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies with evaluation of student growth.
• SC3 monitoring and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• SC4 strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• SC5 commitment to Department values and continuing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching-related duties as determined by the principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
