Job summary

AEMO, Australia's independent energy system operator, is seeking two experienced Engineering Technical Leads to join the Operations Planning team. These permanent roles will provide leadership and expert technical advice to ensure security and reliability of the National Electricity Market and power system.

You will manage small to medium projects, mentor engineers and contribute to control room plans and procedures, with occasional after-hours duty requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide expert technical operational guidance for the National Electricity Market.
• Develop plans and procedures for electricity control rooms.
• Manage small to medium projects and mentor engineers.
