Job summary

AEMO is seeking a Team Lead – Commissioning to lead and develop a technical team responsible for commissioning and connecting a diverse portfolio of energy projects across Australia. Reporting to the Manager, Commissioning, you will guide delivery, safety, and performance standards while collaborating with stakeholders.

Based in an Australian capital city, this role requires strong leadership, deep power systems knowledge and a focus on delivering reliable energy to the National Electricity

Qualifications

• Strategic technical leadership in engineering teams.
• Strong experience commissioning diverse energy assets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across multiple organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and connection of wind, solar, hydro, storage, hydrogen assets.
• Develop and mentor technical specialists for high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of connection processes and standards.
• Engage with developers, regulators and network service providers to resolve challenges.
