Job summary

Delta Power & Energy (Vales Point) Pty Ltd – Newcastle NSW is offering summer internships for engineering students across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Mechatronics disciplines. No experience required; 12‑week paid program commencing early December 2025 at Vales Point Power Station.

You will work with our Assets, Maintenance and Operations teams, gaining hands-on industry exposure in a heavy‑industry environment and be encouraged to apply for our Graduate Program.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an engineering degree and seeking hands-on internship.
• Open to Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Mechatronics disciplines.
• Summer internship aligned with university breaks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Assets, Maintenance and Operations teams at Vales Point.
• Gain exposure to projects in a heavy industry environment.
• Develop practical engineering skills and professional relationships.
