Job summary

Delta is offering a 12 week paid summer internship for university students (Dec 2026 start) across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Mechatronics engineering disciplines. Earn a base hourly rate of $39.33 to $44.50 with a weekly location allowance and 14% superannuation, while working with our Assets, Maintenance and Operations teams at Vales Point Power Station.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and eager to apply theory to practice.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ownership of tasks.
• Good communication and ability to work with teams across the business.

Responsibilities

• Support Assets, Maintenance and Operations teams at Vales Point Power Station.
• Gain exposure to a range of projects in a heavy industry environment.
• Develop hands-on industry experience during the 12‑week summer internship.
